The Slow Readers Club enter UK Top 20 with new album 'Build A Tower'

The Slow Readers Club are celebrating their Top 20 chart debut with their new album Build A Tower, which went straight into the Official UK album chart at number 18 on, no.10 in the physical album chart, 4 in the vinyl chart, 4 in the indie album chart and number 1 in the cassette chart.

The band say, “Our album is no. 18. This is properly mind-blowing. We want to say a massive thank you to all our fans for getting behind us. Thanks for spreading the word, here’s to the next stage of the adventure”

CELEBRATE TOP 20 CHART DEBUT - BUILD A TOWER NEW ALBUM OUT NOW VIA MODERN SKY

 
The album was released on May 4th via independent label Modern Sky and features the singles ‘You Opened Up My Heart’, ‘Lunatic’ and ‘Through The Shadows’.
 
On release day the band celebrated with a sold-out Manchester Cathedral. Since then they have played a string of sold-out shows with five more dates of their UK tour to go, including a show at London Islington’s Assembly Hall on May 25th.
 
Last year the band played to a packed out crowd of over 2,000 enthralled fans at a sold-out Manchester Albert Hall. You can watch the set in full here.
