US hip hop star Nate Dogg has died at the age of 41 as a result of complications that arose following two strokes he suffered recently.
Lawyer Mark Geragos confirmed the death of Nate Dogg to the Associate Press news agency and since the announcement a flood of tributes from the music world have been made in his honour including from hip hop icon Snoop Dogg who spoke of Nate Dogg as a “True legend of hip-hop and R&B.”
Nate Dogg attended school with Snoop Dogg and has been part of many huge hits in the past which included singing on Regulate by Warren G as well as on songs by Ludacris, 50 Cent and Dr Dre.

Snoop Dogg tweeted: “Nate Dogg was one of my best friends and a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at Poly High where we met.”
Ladacris took to twitter too to say: “There is a certain void in hip-hops heart that can never be filled. Glad we got to make history together.”
Warren G said on Sunday: “For those that don't know, a while back Nate had two strokes. He is in therapy. Thanks again for your support.”
