MusicTalkers was lucky enough to receive LBC Crews 'Haven't You Heard' album to review. The newly released album is the product of previously unreleased material, most of which was made in the 90's under the notorious Death Row Records label.

LBC Crew from Long Beach in California originally emerged in 1995 who were prominent figures in the West coast rap scene. They were known for the hit single"Beware Of My Crew". LBC Crew worked alongside Snoop Dogg who helped produce the album Haven't You Heard. The LBC Crew was also featured quite heavily on Snoops second album 'The Doggfather' and highlighted on 2Pac's Gridlock'd soundtrack with song 'Out the Moon / Boom Boom Boom'.

Its taken nearly 2 decades to finally see 'Haven't You Heard' which has now been released to the public under WIDEawake Entertainment Group/Death Row Entertainment. The album contains 13 tacks plus one bonus.

As soon as 'Haven't You Heard' starts playing its clear to see Snoop Dogg has a prominent role within the album. The album should appeal to any Snoop fan. In fact 7 of the songs feature Snoop himself.

Most tracks have a surprisingly mellow relaxed sound, making it a great album to chill out to.

The songs are pretty much about what most rappers were rapping about back then and even today including: Smoking, money, cars, chicks and guns. I dare say most of the songs were influenced about experiences going on at that time in the west coast.

Overall the album has some great mellow beats and is a must for any old school rapper fan wanting to re-live some fresh material from the old west coast days.
