Five days ago BLACKPINK dropped their newest single and video clip "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du", off their EP Square Up, and it already has over 73 Million views on YouTube and 7.3 Million listens on Spotify. After a year since their last release, they have returned with the same catchy K-Pop beats, amazing production quality of the track and video, style on point and their choreography is fresh!

Their debut track is grimey with their trademark softer pre-chorus before the drop. The highlight of the video clip is the full sized bedazzled tank that rolls in - so extra!

The rest of the Square Up EP features 3 more tracks; Forever Young, Really and See U Later. The tracks are relationship inspired however, not necessarily about the positive side of relationships. "Forever Young", as the title suggests is about eternal young love. Listen all the way to the end as there is a surprise beat change-up in the last minute of the track. "Really" is after the honeymoon period is over and they sing about wanting to work through hard times. "See U Later", BLACKPINK are basically fed up with their man making mistakes so are cutting the cord! They sing about their man making too many mistakes and they're not going to take them back again - relatable.

If this EP get's you hooked, check out some of their other hits like, "Boombayah" and "Whistle".

Blackpunk describe themselves music style wise as, Hip Hop/Pop/R&B/K-Pop. They are a four piece Korean band signed to YG Entertainment. Members consist of: Jisso, Jennie, Rose, Lisa.
