Singing star Lady Gaga has come out in support of much blighted teen singer Rebecca Black.
During a Musicians@Google events held on Tuesday.

It is reported that Lady Gaga stuck up for the 13 year old singer who has shot to fame on YouTube for all the wrong reasons with her song Friday.

Lady Gaga said: “I think it is fantastic” she said commenting on the fame that Rebecca Black has gained through YouTube where her video has received more than 35 million streams.

Lady Gaga added: “I say Rebecca Black is a genius and anyone that's telling her she's cheesy is full of s**t” although the star admitted that she hadn't actually seen the video herself.

Simon Cowell has also backed Rebecca and her song.

Rebecca Black is now claiming that she is the victim of cyber bullying as a consequence of her video although she must see the silver lining of the song as it is reported that she has earned more than £850,000 from the song.

Speaking on the Jay Leno show she said: “I'm 13 so being a teenager, you care about what other people think about you. “Oh the world hates me, I'm gonna die!” But now I don't even read them so they don't bug me.”
