(New York - NY) Introducing emerging singer-songwriter, Jordan Siwek, whose music adds color to the darkest day. A native New Yorker, Jordan has been playing at some of the most well known venues, showcasing his heartfelt lyrics and lively instrumental. He is combining all he has learned over the past decade into his debut album, Sun Inside You, out July 13th.
The theme of the album is the balance of darkness and light despite hardships, and finding unity in the midst of division. Finding love and losing love and finding a greater love. The album was by produced by Godfrey Diamond, who worked with everyone from Stevie Wonder to Steven Tyler to Frank Sinatra, and mastered byAlan Silverman, who mastered numerous Grammy Award winning albums. Legendary guitarist Oz Noy and Robbie Seahag Manganoboth played on the album.
About Jordan Siwek
NYC native Jordan Siwek has been playing piano and singing for as long as he could walk and talk. At the age of 10, he played Gavroche in Les Miserables on Broadway. This experience inspired him to write music and pursue music professionally. With influences in classic rock, blues, and soul, Jordan’s songwriting focuses on turning darkness into light, with messages of love, hope, and unity, which is particularly important in these times of division.
Jordan and his band have played frequently at The Bitter End, Caffe Vivaldi, Silvana, to name a few. Influences include Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, The Doors, Elton John, John Legend, Jason Mraz, and jazz pianist Oscar Peterson.
