Singer Robbie Williams taking Darts Lessons from Phil Taylor

Take That member Robbie Williams has reported to be taking private darts lessons from darts champion Phil Taylor in a bid to help him beat the other members of the band at the pub sport.
Take That are currently planning to host their own darts tournament when they begin their Progress Live tour of Europe in May.
It is reported that Robbie Williams, who has been welcomed back into the man band after years of rifts and feuds, has asked Phil “The Power” Taylor to give him some pointers in the sport to make sure that he comes out on top in the competition.
Phil Taylor said: “We've had several session over the past few months. Anyone who knows Rob will tell you he's very competitive and he wants to show the others he's the best player.”
He added: “He's a smashing boy and he's not looking a bad player at all.”
With all the coaching it is looking like Robbie is the favourite to be the winner against his bandmates Gary Barlow, Mark Owe, Howard Donald and Jason Orange with Phil Taylor singing the praises of Robbie and his darts skills.
Phil Taylor told the Daily Mirror: “I'll go and see Robbie at some stage on the tour to check on his progress. If I think he's losing bits of his game, I'll get him back on track.”
Phil Taylor has a history of coaching famous pupils as he has previously helped out Justin Hawkins from The Darkness although his tuition did cause a strain on the relationship of the band after they claimed that Justin was more involved in darts than music.
Justin Hawkins said: “I've been to two tournaments now supporting Phil. Darts has now become my life. It's probably as important if not more important than the music.”
