“Legacy of the Beast” is the name of the Iron Maiden’s 2018 World tour. The band named their tour after the mobile game and the comic that was released by themselves last year.
Described as a “history/hits tour”, Iron Maiden announced this tour also last year, in November, and it included 38 European dates. Their manager Rod Smallwood said that the concerts will include more 80s material, but also there will be many surprises from later albums.
More than a half of the concerts of this “Legacy of the Beast” tour have already been gigged. There are many positive comments about these concerts, the energy that these legends are sharing and their unique performances.
At the minute, they're performing in UK. Iron Maiden have already played in England and Northern Ireland on July 31st and August 2nd.
Great news for their fans from Scotland and England.
The band will have their concert in Scotland on August 4th, and the location is Exhibition and Conference Centre, Aberdeen.
Two days after the Scotland concert, Steve, Dave, Adrian, Bruce, Nicko and Janick will perform three more concerts in England. The first one will be on August 6th in Manchester and the location is Manchester Arena. August 7th is the date for their next concert after Manchester and will be in Genting Arena, Birmingham.
“Save the best for the last”. The last two concerts are reserved for the capital of the country that have some of the greatest musicians in history of music worldwide - London.
10th and 11th August are the dates for performing and the fans will enjoy the concerts in The O2 Arena.
During all these concerts commencing in the next few days, Iron Maiden will have the american metal band Killswitch Engage as support. This band was also supporting Iron Maiden on their tour from May 26th till July 1st.
There's a lot to be said about one of the most successful heavy metal bands in history - Iron Maiden. It’s so impressive how they're out there still playing, besides the fact that the band was formed 43 years ago, in 1975 in Leyton, East London. And their music history - 16 studio albums, sold over 100 million copies of their albums worldwide, platinum and gold albums in UK and US, more than 2000 concerts…
