The band GIVERS have just released their new EP Movin’ On. The EP was produced by Nashville based Dave Cobb, the Grammy Award-winner who has worked with big names including; Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton and Jamey Johnson.

In addition to the release, the band has also shared a live performance of Movin’ On the at Preservation Hall in New Orleans.

The video has an energetic upbeat vibe, with people dancing and and generally have a good time. It almost works perfectly, as if it was the tracks official video- you kind of forget its a live performance video. The song is also catchy and generates a unique sound and feel.

The band first broke out in 2011. Many reports say the band came out reflecting a message of love, life and optimism. Then, quite young on the scene the band has enjoyed great success since they formed in 2008. This can be backed up by the fact they were touring large arenas around the world, and been regulars at huge festivals like Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. They have also featured on major TV shows- Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

With the band members now in their 30’s, the message in their music seems to have shifted from love and celebrating life, to one of life problems, and everyday struggles- Something which has probably risen from their maturing of age.

Givers are described as an indie pop, worldbeat band. The band is made up of singer/percussionist, Tiffany Lamson, vocalist/guitarist Taylor Guarisco, and bassist and guitarist, Josh LeBlanc

Signed to Glassnote Records and formed in Lafayette, Louisiana, they have previously been associated and performed with zydeco, jazz and Cajun groups.
