Rock on Neon Radio is a Live365 radio station. The station's motto is “some that you recognize, some that you've hardly even heard of” which is a quote from the song Celluloid Heroes by The Kinks.

Rock on Neon Radio's signature show, Rock on Neon Live, broadcasts Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM EST and is currently playing the station's top 1,000 songs of all time countdown. The station's top 1,000 is unique with songs from the mid 60's to the current decade; and contains songs most will know, songs many will not know from bands and artists they know, and songs from artists most will not know. The genres covered on the countdown include mainstream rock, alternative, new wave, indie, album cuts and more.

Now, with Live365's new ClockWheel function, Rock on Neon Radio has the ability to more easily develop and schedule creative programs. The first block of new programs are for Tuesdays. There is 16 hours of programs. All times are Eastern Standard Time.

The new Tuesday shows are:

Indie Spotlight 50-50 (8:00 AM to 11:00 AM EST, then a new show at 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM EST) - This show alternatives a song from an indie artist and a song from a more established artist. This show caters to people who want a mix of familiar music while also finding new favorites.

Countdown Catch-up (11:00 AM to noon EST, then a new show at 11:00 PM to midnight EST) – For those who missed or cannot tune in Saturday mornings to the live countdown (10:00 AM EST), this show allows them to listen to songs that were part of the countdown. Initially, this show will randomly play song numbers 901 thru 1000 during the show. The 100 song range on this show will change as the countdown proceeds. And remember, the songs in the countdown represent the top 2% of songs available at the station so all in the countdown are excellent songs.

New Wave on Rock on Neon (Noon to 4:00 PM EST) - Of all the genres out there, the one that seems to have been glossed over the most is new wave. In fact, they took that station off Music Choice. So here is a four hour block of new wave music. Also included is a minor Rock on Neon Radio spin to new wave. Included are a few songs that would have fit in with new wave from artists not traditionally played on new wave stations.

Decades (4:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST) – This show proves that music has been excellent no matter the decade. The show plays songs from the decade of the 60s through the decade of the 2010s. Here is the format (the cycle repeats for four hours)
60s song, 60s song, indie song, 70s song, 70s song
70s song, 70s song, indie song, 80s song, 80s song
80s song, 80s song, indie song, 90s song, 90s song
00s song, 00s song, indie song, 10s song, 10s song
So you get a progression of songs from the decade of the 60s (to be fair it starts about mid-decade) to the current decade, all with songs from indie artists separating the decades.
