British Classic Rock legends Uriah Heep have announced a full world tour beginning in November and lasting through the first quarter of 2019. The trek takes place on the back of their newest album, Living The Dream, which was released earlier this year via Frontiers Records.

The band formed in 1969, and released their debut album ‘Very 'eavy... Very 'umble’ in 1970. That record went on to become a true landmark of hard rock/heavy metal and the band went on to sell over 40 million albums worldwide. The band’s live set contains everything from 70s classic right up to the present day and they play up to 125 shows (to 500,000+ people) every year.

Living The Dream is the group’s 25th studio album. The first single from the record, Grazed By Heaven, was written by bassist Dave Rimmer, with lyrics by Jeff Scott Soto (Journey, Sons Of Apollo). Watch the video for the single here: https://youtu.be/PHgDPxLlFW4

“Grazed was born out of my desire to write a blazing Heep rock track” said Rimmer at the time, ”I put together the music and arrangement but needed a very strong melody line/lyric to match the music and the Riff..... I have been a fan of Jeff Scott Soto's voice and writing for many years so asked Jeff about a collaboration, he loved the song and came up with the perfect, & powerful lyric/melody... a very natural seamless collaboration between Jeff and I. A true 'Living The Dream' Moment for me”

When asked what people should expect from the new album, band leader Mick Box said, “There are rock songs, rock ballads, and a couple of prog songs encompassing everything Heep.”

The upcoming tour includes 5 UK Dates in December before heading off around the world. "The mighty Heep are proudly able to tour in over 61 countries” says Box, “We look forward to a packed touring schedule in 2018 and 2019. Touring is in our blood and what we have a passion to do, and so 2018 is no exception,”
