Guitarist and singer/songwriter Ana Popovic has announced a nationwide tour for May next year, in support of her latest album 'Like It On Top.' The record was released in September this year, produced by illustrious, four-time Grammy award-winning bluesman Keb' Mo and featured top guests like Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Robben Ford and Keb' Mo himself.

Popovic and Keb' Mo' spent two weeks together at her Los Angeles home to write the album, before decamping to his studio in Nashville for recording. While there is still plenty of her acclaimed guitar playing involved, the album has already been heralded as featuring her strongest vocal performances to date, as well as a real focus on songwriting.

Like It On Top celebrates a big theme in today's world of women defeating obstacles in their path and breaking through glass ceilings - as well as crediting men who support them in their efforts. Says Popovic, “I hope that my music inspires others to motivate ladies all over the world to be successful, energetic, empowered women on a mission, and to motivate men to give them that chance.”

Popovic's UK dates form part of a larger tour which will see her cover much of Europe and the USA next year. She arrives in Britain for a show in Cardiff on May 3rd before six further shows which wind up at Nottingham's Rescue Rooms on May 10th.
