As part of their continuing 30th Anniversary celebrations - which most recently saw them include a special show at the iconic 100 Club in London as part of their UK tour - Brighton-based punk rockers Levellers have announced an exciting competition for fans to win a five day recording session at Metway Studios in the band's hometown. The studio is owned by the band, and past artists who have recorded there have included Nick Cave, Royal Blood, Orbital and Sleeper as well as the group themselves.

To be in with a chance of winning artists can submit material via email to lois@levellers.co.uk, or via CD to Metway Studios, 55 Canning Street, Brighton, BN2 0EF. The band will judge the competition and the winner will be announced after the end of April. The five-day session must be used by the end of August. Metway Studios has a newly relaunched website where you can find out more about the competition. Check it out and get more information here: http://www.metwaystudios.co.uk/

The band will also headline the final night of the Teenage Cancer Trust's annual fundraising gigs at the Royal Albert Hall. The evening, titled 'A Beautiful Night Out' will feature a full electric set from the group and take the form of a specially curated mini-version of their grass-roots music festival Beautiful Days. Supporting artists will be announced soon and all the money raised will go to support the work of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
