Australian rockers Electric Mary have announced their new studio album 'Mother' which will be released on Friday 15th February via Listenable Records. The band have become well-known across the world for their vital live performances since forming in 2003 after frontman Rusty Brown discovered the story of Jimi Hendrix studio manager Mary Campbell during a visit to Electric Lady Studios in New York, which were founded by the rock icon. The band have since shared stages with huge acts like Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Kiss, Motorhear and Def Leppard and are now known as one of the best live acts in Austrailia.

Their album Down To The Bone (2008) received rave reviews including the accolade of Rock Album of The Year by the Birmingham Mail while Rocktopia said of third album, III, "Already one of the more promising bands to have hit the scene in the last few years, 'III' keeps up Electric Mary's high standards and is an album that deserves to see them make the next step into the big boys' playground" and Classic Rock Magazine reckoned, "'III' is exactly the kind of album it should be mandatory for every Classic Rock reader to own."

After an EP and a live album in the intervening years the group will finally now release their fourth full-length record, and head out across the world to promote it with more visceral live shows. Still led by vocalist Rusty Brown, the current line up also features guitarists Pete Robinson and Brett Wood, along with bass player Alex Raunjak and drummer Spyder.
