Powerhouse hard rockers Black Star Riders will release their highly anticipated fourth album in September this year. The record, titled 'Another State Of Grace' was produced and mixed by Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Anthrax, Uriah Heep) and will be released once again on Nuclear Blast entertainment. It will be the first album to feature the new look-line up of the band.

Drummer Chad Szeliga and guitarist Christian Martucci will make their recorded debuts with the group after replacing Jimmy DeGrasso and Damon Johnson who departed in 2017 and 2018 respectively. The new duo will join band mainstays Ricky Warwick (Lead Vocals / Guitar), Scott Gorham (Lead Guitar) and Robert Crane (Bass).

Forming in 2012 as an offshoot of the last touring line up of Thin Lizzy, BSR have since gone on to plough their own furrow, expanding their sound from the weighty Lizzy-esque rock of debut record 'All Hell Breaks Loose' (2013) and becoming a more modern, cutting edge rock band - while still maintaining a little celtic flavour and strong story-telling lyrics thanks to frontman Warwick who had quickly proved himself a worthy successor to Phil Lynott in Thin Lizzy.

Sophomore effort 'The Killer Instint' followed in 2015 before the group broke even bigger with 2017's 'Heavy Fire' which reached #6 in the UK album charts, #11 in Germany and won a Planet Rock award for Best British Album. With plenty of touring, the line up changes and some Thin lizzy reunion shows the next album has long been anticipated, with the band seeming just as excited as the fans for the new release.

Ricky Warwick: "I’m absolutely thrilled to be back with a brand new Black Star Riders Album. In my honest opinion this is the best record the band has made! This is Christian and Chad’s first album with the band and they have brought a fantastic energy and vibe”

Scott Gorham adds "It was great to be back in Los Angeles and recording with Jay Ruston was an absolute pleasure.  I am excited to see everyone’s reactions to this amazing record … and I can’t wait to get back on the road and play you these new songs!”
