Whilst many performers stick to one style or genre, internationally renowned performer James Kennedy is able to deliver an eclectic mix of styles and mood of music. His latest two albums include a blues orientated "JK's Blue Thang" and a multi-styled live album "How We Are"

Performing as a band with Catherine Lawson - violin, Matt Alles - bass, and Eric Madison - drums. James Kennedy fronts the group playing acoustic and electric 6 and 12 string guitars. All seasoned professional musicians, Kennedy and his band boast impressive credentials - playing gigs of various sizes across local, regional and international venues plus receiving global recognition, with rave reviews.

An important factor in the ability of James Kennedy to deliver such a diverse range of music and styles could stem from his longevity in the music industry. This combined with his talent and live performance skill sets the perfect foundations.

Described as "something for everyone", the album "How We Are" spans across jazz, blues, world music, roots, and even some classic rock. This album is a "live" in studio recording, marking his 28th album release. Although the album switches through various styles, it doesn't lose its identity - the over-all feel is quite mellow and relaxed.

More recently, Kennedy dropped his 29th release "JK's Blue Thang" in December 2018. Naturally, this may appeal to more of a blues fan, the album contains  "traditional" blues, blues/rock, 12-string "slide" blues and more. To grasp some idea of how large his catalog is, "JK's Blue Thang" album is a product of his 400 previously recorded songs.

James Kennedy has toured extensively across the USA and Europe.
