YOSHIKI Dedicates Performance With Orchestra To Memories Of Band Members and Japan's Historic Transition Next Week

YOSHIKI gave special performances of the songs “Endless Rain” and “Anniversary” and was interviewed on NHK World’s premiere episode of the show “SONGS OF TOKYO,” which debuted worldwide this week (April 22, 2019). “Anniversary,” the concerto composed by YOSHIKI for the 10th anniversary of Emperor Akihito’s reign, was performed for the first time in full on national Japanese television. NHK World reaches 300 million viewers in over 160 countries, and YOSHIKI, backed by an orchestra for the special event, dedicated the song to the transition between the Heisei and Reiwa eras.
