Dedicated to their craft, CoCo and the Butterfields have spent hours in the studio creating a selection of songs representing them as people and as a band. Their music is an ode to their lives and this new video for the upcoming single and EP ‘Monsters’ shows a great image of them as a band.

Captured from a live performance the video relays their energy perfectly. CoCo and the Butterfields have shared the video here (https://youtu.be/IXqqcgjkt-8for) and is for both their upcoming single and EP title track, ‘Monsters’, ahead of the EP’s release on May 24th 2019.

Frontman Tom Twyman had a hectic upbringing, but that has became part of the genius and the fabric of their music genre. He said, “It's difficult when you get shunned by your family and your friends,” he adds with considerable understatement. “I had a very difficult reunion with my father. I met Dulcima and threw everything I had into doing this. Initially, my aspirations were smaller, I thought I'd just go travelling and do music. But it wasn't until a couple of months of doing CoCo together that I realised just what this could be, and so I put down my plane ticket, and convinced Dulcima that she should forget art school and make something of the band." A bold move, considering Dulcima was had just finished college and considering Art School.

With a solid foundation of eclectic influence, live presence and masterly songwriting, 2019 looks set to be the year that catapults the band to new heights where they deserve to be.

The shows come ahead of their own UK headline tour starting in October, which sees them playing 14 dates around the country including a stop at London’s Islington Assembly Hall. CoCo and the Butterfields have built a strong reputation as a formidable live act, having been a staple of the touring circuit for a number of years, with past performances including festival slots at Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight and Bestival, and support slots for the likes of Bastille, King Charles, Scouting For Girls and Wheatus.

For CoCo and the Butterfields it seems their lives being interrupted, was the best thing that could of have happened to them.
