Black Star Riders - the hard rock band that began as an offshoot of Thin Lizzy's last touring line up - previously announced the title of their fourth album, 'Another State Of Grace.' Now they have provided further details of the record, as well as  streaming the title track.

The song features some classic heavy riffs with celtic inflections and a typically powerful vocal performance from frontman Ricky Warwick who takes a typically unflinching look at the history of his homeland and the fortunes of early Irish immigrants in America. The song was written by Warwick along with recent addition to the band, guitarist Christian Martucci.

The parent album will be released on 6th September 2019 and also features Thin Lizzy legend Scott Gorham on guitar, bass player Robbie Crane, and drummer Chad Szeliga. It was recorded at Sphere Studios in Burbank, California and produced & mixed by Jay Ruston who has previously worked with Anthrax, Uriah Heep and Stone Sour.

Black Star Riders have long since superceded their origins, as one of their biggest fans, Joe Elliot of Def Leppard says, “I’ve been an ardent supporter ever since they started their journey having moved away from being Thin Lizzy and becoming a legitimate band in their own right. For me, this is by far their best effort to date”

Ricky Warwick is similarly enthused by the new project, “This has probably been the most enjoyable experience in the studio I have had making a record. The vibe and commitment the boys brought into this was stellar. Our most anthemic and soulful album to date. I’m very proud and excited for people to hear Another State Of Grace!”

The album will available on CD, vinyl and vinyl picture disc, limited edition boxset and limited edition light green vinyl. The tracklist for the CD is as follows:

  1. 1.Tonight The Moonlight Let Me Down
  2. 2. Another State Of Grace
  3. 3. Ain’t The End Of The World
