Another Sky - an upcoming band to look out for

Another Sky are an Alternative/Indie group from London. They currently have a bunch of gigs commencing at the end of May into July. Their debut EP ‘Forget Yourself’ released back in March 2018 catapulted the band into recognition by major media including the BBC.
The bands most recent release ‘The Cracks’ is currently being pushed by Annie Mac on BBC Radio1, gathering steady momentum and recognition. The track itself is an epic atmospheric number which displays lead singer Catrin’s amazing vocals to the max. The haunting and dark song is enough to put chills down ones spine and leave you wanting to learn more about this emerging band. In our opinion hints of Radiohead can be heard at times, along with a more mainstream Coldplay sound - which could make this track appeal to a wider audience.
The band are known for mixing several genres of music together. Whilst listening to their EP ‘Forget Yourself’ it’s likely you will experience elements of prog-rock, ambient and electronica sounds all carefully knitted together to form some kind of ‘super group’ that lies between them all.
In an interview on how the group got together, Lead singer of the band Catrin said “The band formed out of a mutual obsession with a Talk Talk album titled ‘Laughing Stock’ which we discovered around the same time. We ended up getting in a room, jammed together and wrote a song straightaway, then burst out in laughter like, “Where the f*** did that come from”?
Later on in 2018, Another Sky were then fortunate to find themselves on Huw Stephens flagship music show at BBC's Maida Vale sessions, plus featuring on Jools Hollands TV show. Now, it seems they’re a definite up-and-coming act which will only get stronger.
Recent praise also came from HMV just yesterday on Twitter:
"Another Sky make enormous, atmospheric songs with real verve and real quirk. Check out #hmvnextbigthing's"
The full band members include; South-London foursome, Catrin (vocals), Max (drums), Naomi (bass) and Jack (guitar).
For anyone wanting to sample this alternative four-piece for themselves, the group have many UK show dates ahead this year.
