One of Britain's top blues/rock guitarists, Danny Bryant, has just announced news of his upcoming 11th studio album. 'Means Of Escape' will drop on September 20th via Jazzhaus Records and will be available on CD, digital and 180g white vinyl. It will be preceded by the title track which will be issued as a single on Friday 8th July.

The new record also marks Bryant's debut as producer, and he's enlisted a range of top-class talent to help make an album that he says he has “waiting his whole career to create.” The nine-track 'blistering blues rock' record was recorded at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire and engineered by Grammy Award-winning engineer Ian Dowling (Adele, KT Tunstall). It was then mixed in Nashville by the legendary Eddie Spear (Rival Sons, U2, Chris Stapleton) and finally mastered at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios by Grammy award-winning Sean Magee (Gary Moore, The Rolling Stones).

"This album was a joy to make from start to finish,” says Danny. “I can honestly say I’m proud of this piece of work more than anything I have done in my 20-year career. Music is my release in the world, it's my way of surviving, it’s my means of escape.

“I decided to produce this record myself" he goes on, "The primary reason being that I had a selection of songs that I felt would benefit from being cut ‘live’ in the studio, with myself and the band all playing together, feeding off the energy in the room, and capturing the magic of a live performance.”   

The album is the follow-up to 2018's acclaimed 'Revelation' - a deeply personal, song oriented album which followed Bryant's previous 'Big Band' project which saw him take to the road with a full horn section, on the back of which he released the crackling live double album, 'BIG.'

He'll support the new release with an extensive UK tour in October. Dates are as follows:
