UK blues young gun Laurence Jones has just dropped the lyrics video for his new single 'I'm Waiting' - the first track to be taken from his upcoming self titled album 'Laurence Jones Band.' The album will be released on Friday 27th September on Top Story Music via Sony.
The new song bursts out of the blocks with a driving feel and thundering chords. It's particularly notable for some great, wide ranging singing from Jones who really shows just how good his vocals have become in recent years - there's a touch of Glenn Hughes in his tone-filled delivery. There's also great backing from Bennett Holland on Hammond organ and a typically fiery guitar solo from Jones.

The new album - much like previous effort, last year's 'The Truth' - was recorded in Miami and produced by Gregory Elias. Along with Jones and Holland the album again features long-term bass and drum duo, Greg Smith and Phil Wilson. The album will be available on CD, Vinyl, limited Deluxe Vinyl (coloured – Amethyst) and in bundles – which can include extra items like T-shirts and badges.
The album and bundles are available for pre-order now via www.laurencejonesmusic.com. The single 'I'm Waiting' will be available as an instant download for anyone pre-ordering the album.
Laurence Jones says:
I'm really proud to bring you this new album, two years of hard work have gone into the planning and recording of it. I will let the music do the talking though and see you on the road at a show!"
