Fantastic Negrito has just dropped a powerful new video for the single 'The Suit That Won't Come Off.' The release also marks the one year anniversary of his Grammy Award Winning sophomore album, 'Please Don't Be Dead.'

The Oakland, California native seamlessly melds effortless cool with layered, meaningful songs and for his new single has combined the music with a remarkable video which only adds to the compelling nature of the stomping, intense soulful rock/blues of the track. The film, was shot on location at the Swiss Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale and marks Negrito's third collaboration with 18-year-old filmaker Freddy Macdonald - after the clips for previous singles 'The Duffler' and 'A Boy Named Andrew.'

The video features stunning work by dancer Odil Gerfaut and choreographer Angele Carole Chappuis, both of whom are visually handicapped. It shows Gerfaut working his way through the deserted corridors of the Pavillion, moving in a dance while also exploring the space by touch in rhythm with the music.

“Our freedom comes when we face our fear,” says Fantastic Negrito of the song. “It comes when we embrace and celebrate what makes us unique. We grew up feeling like outsiders; a lost tribe. Sometimes isolated or ashamed about what was unique about us. We could not fit into society’s repressed fantasies of how the world should look, how it should be. This song is for everyone that ever felt left out, not good enough, imperfect, ridiculed for being different a freak. I am you, you are me, we are we -- A tribe with love in our hearts. #negritonation.”

Fantastic Negrito has also teamed up with the Braille Institute to raise money for their organization – you can donate here: https://brailleinstitute.networkforgood.com/projects/76982-fantastic-negrito-connection
