Following her acclaimed UK tour in May 2019, multi-award-ainning blues guitarist and singer Samantha Fish has revealed details of a further trek in February/March 2020.

It will take in nine dates beginning in Glasgow at St. Lukes on February 28th and concluding at Concorde, Bristol on the 8th March. Planet rock pre-sale tickets went onsale on Wenesday 3rd July (http://planetrock.gigantic.com/samantha-fish-tickets ) while the general sale will begin 5th July via www.alttickets.com and www.gigantic.com

The tour will follow the release of Fish's new album 'Kill Or Be Kind' which will drop Friday 20th September on Rounder Records, distributed in the Uk by Proper Music. The album has been described as 'edgy roots music' and was recorded at Royal Studios in Memphis, produced by three-time Grammy winner Scott Billington and mixed by two-time Grammy winner Steve Reynolds. The record will contain eleven tracks from the electric cigar box stomp of "Bulletproof" to the sweet Memphis R&B of "Trying Not To Fall in Love With You."

"I'm never gonna be a traditional blues artist, because that's not who I am," says Fish. "But it's all the blues for me. When Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf came out, what they were doing didn't sound like anything that had been done in blues before. You've gotta keep that kind of fire and spirit. I'm never going to do Muddy Waters better than Muddy Waters, so I have to be who I am and find my best voice.”

Fish began her recording career in 2009, quickly establishing herself and getting acclaim from publications like The New York Times who called Fish "an impressive blues guitarist who sings with sweet power" and "one of the genre's most promising young talents." The new album will be the follow up to her two highly-regarded 2017 records, 'Belle Of The West' and 'Chills & Fever.'
