It has been revealed that this year the UK X Factor final will be taking place at Wembley Arena in London.
By holding the final of the show at Wembley it will mean that 12,500 fans will be able to come along and support their favouites while also enjoying the show which in the past has welcomed stars such as Rihanna.
This will also be a chance for X Factor fans to see last years winner Matt Cardle sing live.
A source for the show told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Wembley arena is one of the UK's iconic venues. More fans will be able to watch and create a fantastic atmosphere.”
This is not the only change in format for the hit ITV talent show as this year judges Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole are said to not be taking part as they have crossed the atlantic to be part of the US version of the show.
Although there have been no confirmations as yet it is rumoured that Take That singers and songwriters Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams could be taking one of the positions as a judge while Lily Allen and US former Pussy Cat Doll Nicole Scherzinger are also said to be in line for a possible role in the show.
Another name in the running to be a judge on the show is Tulisa Contostavlos from N-Dubz, although she has now been said to have been turned down. The same X Factor insider said: “Tulisa did do a one hour audition but was turned down because she couldn't stop swearing.”
The source added: “It was all the time and bosses became worried about putting her on live TV in front of millions of viewers including children.
“If she ended up cursing or making a rude comment live on show, the programme would get into serious trouble.”
