Record company EMI will be reissuing all of the studio albums ever made by Pink Floyd along with unheard recordings from the archives after a legal dispute between the band and the label.

Remastered versions of all the albums are being made available for fans, some of them 40 years after the initial releases.

Unheard tracks have been unearthed from archives and will be included in collectors box sets and include a version of Wish You Were Here which features the jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli.

All of the material is set for general release from September under the banner “Why Pink Floyd...?” with the iconic album The Dark Side of The Moon available in a mega six disc box set or a two disc “experience” version as well as also being available digitally and on a collectors vinyl LP.

The Wish You Were Here album will be available in a five disc version set to include an epic 20 minute version of Shine On You Crazy Diamonds and live material form the bands 1974 Wembley performances.

Meanwhile, The Wall, which has already sold more than 25 million double sets, will be produces in a seven disc set and fans will have the chance to hear the unreleased demo version of the title track, for less dedicated fans a collection of singles entitled Best Of will also be released.
