Fans eagerly awaiting some new music from the beloved Southern band The Cadillac Three will be delighted to know that their new song ‘All the Makin’s of a Saturday Night’ will be featured in College Football tapings throughout the season.

It is yet another thunderous effort from the rock-country band, marked by their signature rowdy oomph, strong bass chords, and fierce, rousing vocals from their lead singer Jaren Johnston. The up-tempo beat, the solid guitar riffs and the sweet old promise of a good time will likely make this song an anthem---not only for the dive bars or the beach parties but the packed stadiums shouting for some nail-biting football action. 

The band themselves have expressed adoration for their song being used in this capacity, as being Southern is accompanied by an undying, patriotic love of football. They said that it makes them feel “badass” that their song is going to be “amp[ing] up excitement” for the fans every Saturday night. The first couple of verses refer to the hallmarks of a night out with the boys: the beers, the trucks, the dancing girls, and then Johnson veers into an extensive rap-adjacent verse that really showcases his versatility and sends the listeners into an exhilarating journey. In fact, his voice is oozing with personality, the slight murmurs and laughs deliberately kept intact, so that the listeners cannot only feel but see the performers, as if they were live, shaking and jiving on the stage before them. This quality of being able to transform your recorded song into a live experience is incredibly remarkable and that is why The Cadillac Three should prepare to see themselves as a mainstay in the genre.
