Nominees revealed for 2019 British Country Music Awards

The nominations for the 2019 British Country Music Awards have been revealed, with Morganway, Backwoods Creek, Remember Monday, The Wandering Hearts, and The Southern Companion facing off in the best UK band category.

Kezia Gill, Jade Helliwell, Emma Jade, Laura Oakes, and Twinnie will do battle in Best UK Female category, with Gary Quinn, Stevie O’Connor, Gareth Nugent, Danny McMahon and Jake Morrell all shortlisted for the Best UK Male award.

Twinnie, Kezia Gill, Jade Helliwell, Gary Quinn and Danny McMahon are also in contention for the Best UK Song prize.

The British Country Music Association is a not-for-profit organisation that was established in 2006 with the goal of supporting the best of UK and international country music. Its membership is made up of musicians and professionals from various sectors of the music industry.

The awards show will take place on November 9th at the Concorde Conference Centre, Manchester. Voting is now open for British Country Music Association members.
