- in Latest
According to reports an employees from the Phones4U high street phone retail store has revealed that the new iPhone 5 will be ready for sale from the shop in the UK on November 21. Extreemly popular with music fans, iphones are often used to store and play music on a daily basis. In many cases iphones end up being used more as a listening device over internet browsing, after the novelty has worn off.
Industry insiders already expect the new version of the hugely popular smartphone to be unveiled at the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference in San Francisco but this is the first date for UK sales that have been muted.
Few other details about the new version of the iPhone have yet to be released but it is rumoured that the phone will have a slightly altered enclosure with a screen that measures four inches from edge to edge while it is also expected that the phone will be powered by the same dual core SoC as the Apple iPad 2 as well as improved front and rear facing cameras than previous editions of the iPhone.
The iPhone 4 is still expected to be presented to the world on June 6 however the rumour of the November 21 release date for the iPhone 5 comes after the company has had to deal with important changes in the production of devices in the company following the effects of the Japan earthquake which is said to have restricted the number of products that are able to be made.
Apple have been said to have been struggling to keep up production to meet the huge demand for the iPad 2, any new devices on the market from the company are expected to only add pressure to this already difficult manufacturing situation.
