Country music duo Dan + Shay return with a sweet, gentle melody, ‘10,000 Hours’, about the perks and challenges of true love, this time with pop extraordinaire Justin Bieber in tow.

The three young boys lend their saccharine voices to this easygoing tune, displaying how their music styles and lyrical identities have shifted in the wake of finding romance with their beloved significant others. It is a sugary pop gem, something that demonstrates the most innocent impulses of country music and the somewhat dwindling simplicity of pop music. Dan + Shay fans would be pleased to listen to this ambitious effort off their upcoming album, and would hopefully anticipate some other groundbreaking collaborations to come. 

The pair initially met in Nashville, Tennessee, and with their debut single ‘19 You + Me’ having made headwaves through the country music charts, they were bound for more success as they continued collaborating with some of the most prominent artists in the country music scene. Since then, they have opened for artists such as Hunter Hayes and Blake Shelton, and even released a smooth collaboration with pop-country sweetheart Kelly Clarkson. Not to mention, the pair have blown through some of the most distinguished country music categories, both for the CMAs as well as the Grammys. Their latest single might gain them some chart success as Justin Bieber, appearing alongside his newly-wed wife Hailey, displays some mesmerizing vocal ability, with his two verses including the bridge. The music video is genuine and adorable, featuring some home videos of the men with their partners, their rapt smiles expressing everything that is so special about love.
