Lady Goo Goo is the latest creation to stem from the ever popular kids virtual world 'Moshi Monsters'. The debut song 'The Moshi Dance' by Lady Goo Goo is set to be a hit, possibly reaching a strong position in the charts, when its released on the 18th September via iTunes.
A far cry from Lady Gaga herself, Lady Goo Goo does not bare much resemblance in music style. Its severely annoying to anyone above the age of 12. However the track 'The Moshi Dance' has already gained over 3 million hits on Youtube.
Moshi Monsters is a virtual world designed to be a safe environment for kids. They currently have over 50 million members. Kids can choose from a range of virtual pet monsters where they can create, customize, name and showcase their designs. In addition they can take part in daily quizzes, trade in virtual currency called 'Rox'. Users also chat to friends on the network and have their own virtual room.
One of the developers of Moshi Monsters has commented that they were surprised with the response and popularity of Lady Goo Goo on Youtube.
In the future we are going to see similar performances from 49 Pence, Dustin Beaver and Broccoli Spears alongside many other stars.
It seems free virtual worlds are becoming more popular for just about everyone. Young or old, millions of people are actively taking part, be it Moshi Monsters or IMVU for the older generation.
