- in Latest
Last night on the Jonathon Ross show Noel Gallagher explained how he was surprised to be asked to be on the judges of the X-Factor. In an interview with Jonathon Ross he explained how he was contacted to be one of the main hosts of the popular TV show X-Factor which is now in full swing.
Noel who is promoting his new self titled album 'Noel Gallagher High Flying Birds' said that he was contacted and told Simon Cowell wanted his number, Noel reacted "yeah right he does." then later spoke to Simon. He then when on to say he did not take the place on the X Factor saying "They don't want me on that show". The whole thing was said to cause disappointment to Noels 11 year old daughter who apparently said to him "but its the X-Factor".
Noel also talked about his fall out with brother Liam and about his times with Oasis. When Jonathon Ross asked if he would emerge in a few years and get back together with Oasis and perform the Hit Album 'Whats The Story', Noel explained he was not with the band and said: ''Would you go on holiday with your ex" to Ross
Noel then passed a sarcastic comment saying that he will get together with Oasis when Jonathan Ross goes back to the BBC.
Noel Gallagher's general tone though was not that bad and it sounded as if he may not totally rule out getting back together with Oasis at some point. The ex Oasis star remained well behaved and quick witted through the interview.
Noel then went on to perform one of the songs live from his latest album 'High Flying Birds'.
