On Friday, April 10th Tory Lanez became a free man! The hip-hop and R&B sensation released his last album with Interscope Records and titled the musical masterpiece The New Toronto 3.
The 16-track project includes the singles “Do the Most'' and “Who Needs Love” that have already become fan favorites across the globe. Additionally, the rapper-singer has several impressive features from other artists on the album including a collaboration with Mansa on “10 F*CKS'' and Lil Tjay on “Accidents Happen”. Tory Lanez took to Twitter a few days before the album release to express his feelings on the new project. “It’s crazy to think that I dropped my LAST mixtape / project with INTERSCOPE on FRIDAY ... AND I'M OFF THE LABEL ... LITERALLY A FREE MAN !!!! FREE TO DO AND DROP THE MUSIC THAT I WANT!” he tweeted. Check out the full tracklist for The New Toronto 3 below.

We can’t deny that Tory Lanez’s last album Chixtape 5 did crazy numbers! With features from hip-hop and R&B legends including Ashanti, T-Pain, Ludacris, and Snoop Dogg, I couldn’t imagine how he was going to top such an amazing project. However, The New Toronto 3 is already giving Chixtape 5 a run for that top spot. “Who Needs Love” has been streamed 5 million times on Spotify in less than 24 hours. Other fan favorites like “Letter To The City 2” and “Broke In A Minute” are booming social media platforms! Taking a different approach than the romance-centered Chixtape 5, the Canadian music superstar is transparent about his long and
rough journey to being one of the top artists in the music industry on this album. On the track “P.A.I.N”, Tory Lanez reminisces on his journey: “I got stains on most my t-shirts and these n***as they used to laugh. But they can’t laugh now that that flow comes out of them speakers.” With The New Toronto 3, Tory Lanez outdid himself once again. We look forward to what this new and independent era has in store for the music icon.
