Yoste Release a New Feel Good Track Titled “Flaws”

Right when I played this track, my mood was immediately lifted. With a song titled “Flaws”, you wouldn’t expect to feel happier after playing it. However, when exposed to Yoste’s soothing vocals paired with Konstantin Kersting’s impressive sound production, you’re going to get a pop record that raises your spirits.
“Flaws” gives off that refreshing yet therapeutic feeling as if you just shed 20lbs of dead weight. On the contrary, the lyrics are filled with painful feelings that evolve from stressful romantic relationships. Throughout the record, we hear Yoste open up about the negative effects his personal flaws have had on his intimate relationships. Additionally, the Australia-based artist blessed us with a beautiful visual to accompany “Flaws”. Despite the warming feeling we get from the song played by itself, the “Flaws'' music video portrays more of those heavy feelings that come with heartbreak and self-criticism. In the music video, we are immediately exposed to a distressed Yoste alongside a lake during a glistening sunset. Shot by Yoste’s father Anthony Sines, who is also an award-winning cinematographer, our focus is kept on Yoste throughout the visual to amplify our attention on the meaningful lyrics. This is not the first time Yoste has been transparent about his emotions through his music. On his record “You Can’t Fix Me”, he addresses the harsh reality of commonly experiencing toxic relationships throughout his adulthood. His ability to be transparent about his emotions through his music has garnered him over 85 million streams to-date. Yoste has the potential to be something great and we see it once again on his new record ”Flaws”.
