YouTube Acquires RightsFlow to Help up and Coming Artists

YouTube have acquired RightsFlow a small company that was set up to manage music licensing and payment services. The company started in 2007 and it aids online music services and record companies. It helps artists and distributors license their music as well as making it easier for them to receive their royalty payments.
The head of the company Patrick Sullivan has stated that they are very happy to be moving forward with such a large company such as YouTube. He stated that they both have a vision to make copyright issues less complicated within the music industry, especially for up and coming artists and for small record labels and distributors.
It has also been stated that the guys over at RightsFlow are pleased to be getting the help from YouTube as they are so well known they will be able to help the company gain more of a following as well as raise awareness. This new move will be great for artists, labels, songwriters, publiahers and many others within the music industry.
YouTube has stated that they are also pleased to be jumping on board with RightsFlow as they have done an excellent job in helping to solve the issue of complexities within world of licensing and royalty payments. The technology that RightsFlow use will be full integrated within the YouTube platform for artists and musicians to able to fully license their music and collect royalty payments for it. It will no doubt increase the popularity of the already popular YouTube because of the fact that artists will be able to make money from the use of their music on YouTube.
