It was reported by the Daily Star this Sunday that the Girls Aloud singer who originally hails from Newcastle will be collaborating with the 'Umberella' star this week in an LA studio.
Sources have stated that Cheryl is about to fly to LA to finish off her eagerly anticipated album as a solo artist. It has been reported that during her time in LA she will be meeting with Rihanna to work on a collaborative track.
Sources have also stated that the collaboration has been in the pipeline for quite some time now. However, due to Rihanna being on tour the collaboration has not been possible until now.
It was reported at the start of the year that Cheryl Cole could well be releasing her brand new single from her third album as early as March 2012.
Cheryl Cole has recently stated that she wants the album to be more 'urban.' It has been rumoured that there are collaborations with Hip-hop superstars such as Eminem and Nicki Minaj. Although these rumours have not yet been confirmed.
This is Cheryl's third studio album, however Rihanna just recently released her sixth studio album entitled 'Talk that Talk.'
