Diddy also known as Mr Sean Combs is set to be launching a brand new music themed cable channel. According to reports the music mogul and super savvy business man is set to launch his own cable channel. Broadcasting & Cable released the news on Monday that the music mogul will be launching a new channel, Revolt. The channel is going to be a music themed channel on cable and it is set to go live on December 12 2012.
B & C stated that the producer/rapper has joined forces with a former MTV programming executive Andy Schuon to put the network together. The channel is said to be focusing on the African-American market. It seems however, Diddy's people are keeping tight lipped about his involvement in the launch of the channel. Time Warner Cable have however, stated that they are in talks with Diddy about Revolt. It also rumoured that TWC will aid in the distribution of the channel as well.
Bad Boy Records is also going from strength to strength as the end of 2011 saw the label signing French Montana, as well as signing MTV's Hottest Breakthrough MC winner Machine Gun Kelly. 2012 is set to be a very busy year for the music mogul who said he would never stop.
In a recent radio interview Diddy commented on the rumours that Bad Boy Records does not fully support it's artists. Diddy said that all the people who have been making up these rumours are basically just “hating.” He also stated that he is not worried and he will continue to work hard and produce good music and sign exceptional artists to his label.
