Swarm.fm's Peter Watts accepts the $10,000 prize at the music app weekend which was hosted by Spotify. The winner of the grand prize went to a unreleased music app which was created by the same person who created +Music. The idea behind this new application is take everything from the Internet that is relevant to music and place it inside Spotify and put a play button on it.
The judges at the Spotify Music Hack Weekend thought that this new app was very worthy of the grand prize. Therefore, awarding Peter Watts the prize for a yet to be released app. The new app is supposed to keep you up to date with everything that is going on in the music industry. It is great for music lovers and anyone who needs or wants to know allt here is to know about music. You get to know what your friends like, and what bands your friends are following and liking.
Swarm makes it easier for you to find the music that you want and find out the latest in music. You won't have to trawl through Facebook to find out information relating to the music you want to hear. Everything will be there for you, according to Peter Watts.
The app is yet to released and there is no word has to when the app will be released. Therefore, music app lovers will just have to stay tuned.
