- in Latest
Software programmers came together at the Spin Ping-pong venue in Manhattan on the weekend to construct music apps and throw ideas around. The idea was to present the brand new apps at the Music Apps Hack Weekend, hosted by Spotify.
One new program that took away one of the major prizes was Songjitsu. Songjitsu took away the $5,000 prize from Dorito. The new program is a music trivia game that allows music fans to outsmart each other by selecgting the best song for a particular scenario. The game works by a particular scenario being presented. A list of songs are put before the players and you have to pick which song goes best.
The new music game has not yet been launched, but judges at the Music Hack Weekend were raving about it, and is looking set to be the next big thing is music application games.
You play against other opponents who are called ninjas. The wisest and most forward thinking person or ninja wins the game. This is great for music lovers and for anyone who likes playing trivia games.
