Country singer-songwriter Tucker Beathard has confirmed details of his new album, which is due out on 21 August 2020 through Warner Music Nashville and titled King.

It is the second instalment in his debut double album – Beathard is the first country singer to release a debut double album – after the initial part, Nobody’s Everything, was released in 2018 to widespread critical acclaim.

The album includes a first studio recording of his song Faithful, which won Beathard a raft of fans after he posted the song to YouTube. It is the lead single from the album and accompanied by a video, which is out now.

Beathard, who is the son of country music songwriter Casey Beathard, and whose brother C. J. Beathard is a quarterback in the National Football League with the San Francisco 49ers, also revealed a deep family connection and dedication with the name of the new album.

Writing on his official Facebook page, Beathard said: “I decided to name this album in honor of my little brother Clay, with King being his middle name. From top to bottom this album is a product of the highs and lows, and everything in between that the past few years have been. Through it all I've realized that at the end of the day there’s only one true King, and his kingdom is not of this world.”

Keeping the family theme going, Casey shares songwriting credits with his son on several tracks on King, including You Would Think, You On, and I Ain’t Without You. Pre-order King here.
