Doves Plan to Tour New Album in the UK in Spring 2021

Fresh from announcing the details of their first studio album for 11 years, indie outfit Doves have confirmed their plans to tour the new record across the UK in the spring of 2021.
The new album, titled The Universal Want, is due for release on September 11th 2020, and with restrictions imposed as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic beginning to ease, the band have pencilled in a tour for next year in support of the record.
They will play 13 dates across the UK in March and April, kicking off in Cardiff and closing out at Glasgow’s legendary venue the Barrowlands. In between those two shows, they will play gigs in Bournemouth, Norwich, Brighton, London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham, Newcastle, Liverpool and Sheffield.
The support for the tour is yet to be confirmed, Writing on their official Facebook page, the band said: “We are so excited to announce tour dates for our 2021 UK tour! You can get access to pre-sale tickets by pre-ordering our album before 4PM on Tuesday from the official store. Anyone who has already pre-ordered from our store is eligible. The pre-sale starts at 10AM Wednesday and ends Friday, don’t miss out.”
The lead single from The Universal Want, titled Carousels, is available now.
