Gotye - "Somebody That I Used To Know" Set For UK Number1 Again From YouTube Success

The mid week UK chart update today revealed that Catchy song Gotye- Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra) is set to spend a third week on the UK number one spot. The song has gone wild since it emerged from YouTube scoring a whopping 90 million hits (still counting)
Somebody That I used to Know is was placed on YouTube gaining millions of hits, rocketing them into 10 different countries charts around the world. Its impressive video apparently was no easy creation. According to reports it took nine months to make
The song itself seems to have some kind of magical way to capture and grow on people. It was actually released seven months ago, the last few weeks have seen it go crazy though. YouTube has apparently been one of the biggest known factors for the song to go viral and get popular.
The main person behind Gotye is Wouter De Backer a 31 year old Belgium born Australian. He has already had a small amount of musical success in the past however the latest popularity of 'Somebody' is bound to shock him. Shortly he is planning to release more new material but is unsure whether it will have the same massive impact as this first hit.
Going back to the official UK singles charts update, Gotye leads with Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra) Second place see's Dappy featuring rock legend Brian May. In 3rd is Emeli Sande.
