- in Latest
US rappers Kanye West and Jay-Z have added new dates to their up and coming joint UK tour. The rappers and music moguls will be touring for their joint album "Watch the Throne." It has been reported that they are adding new dates in Birmingham and Sheffield to meet the demand for tickets.
The tour is set to include five shows at London's O2 Arena, which start from May 18 to May 22. Two shows at Manchester's Evening News Arena on June 11 and 12 and two shows at Birmingham's LG Arena on June 13 and 22. The last show will take place at Sheffield Motorpoint Arena on June 21.
The album "Watch the Throne" was released last year and has seen much success in both the UK and the United States. However, Jay-Z has made hints that a new album from the "Watch the Throne" project may well be released this year.
He stated " I am in a great place creatively, you might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album year...we've found our Zone." Jay-Z was talking last year about the possibility of new material in 2012.
