Wahwah.fm turns the music you have on your phone into an online radio station. The station is actually broadcasts the music globally through the Internet. You can listen to other users radio stations as well, the good thing about this app is that you can sign in through Facebook. If you don't have a Facebook account you can sign up using your e mail address.
This innovative app allows every one to have their own live radio station. You get to choose the music you want to play, and you just play it. Anyone who is signed in can also listen to what you are broadcasting. The app scans the music that is stored on your iPhone and allows you to choose the songs you want to broadcast. Music tech pundits are calling this innovative app “Twitter for music.” You can also broadcast locally as well as globally.
Once you sign in, you can follow other users and listen to what they are broadcasting at the moment. Wahwah.fm also has a live feed feature which allows you to check out what people are broadcasting in real time.
Say, you go to California or London as soon as you step off the plan the app is going to show you what is playing in that locality. Therefore, allowing you to check what is going on in the music scene wherever you are.
The company who created it are based in Germany, where it was released three weeks ago. It is available in the United States as of this week. Artists are beginning to catch on to the usefulness of Wahwah.fm and are starting to use it to broadcast to their fans.
The company hope to expand the application in the near future.
