Global Icon Enrique Iglesias Named Top Latin Artist of All Time

Global icon singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias will be recognized as the “Top Latin Artist of All Time” at the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards—as announced today by Telemundo and Billboard. The show airs live from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL on October 21 and will be broadcast on Telemundo.
Iglesias has released over 40 smash hits, sold more than 180 million records, surpassed 19 billion streams and 17 billion video views, and concerts in every corner of the world with an attendance of 10 million people and gross sales of one billion dollars.
Enrique continues to dominate numerous Billboard Latin Charts, setting historic records. He holds the record for the most no. 1’s on the Hot Latin Songs chart with 27 and having 39 songs hit Top 10’s on that chart. He stands out as the record holder for both the most no. 1 titles on the Latin Airplay chart with 31 and the most Top 10’s on the Latin Airplay chart with 40. He also holds the record for the most No. 1 titles on Latin Pop Airplay, with 24, and for the most top 10 hits on Latin Pop Airplay, with 43.
Additionally, in the Billboard Dance Club chart, Enrique Iglesias holds the record for the most no. 1 among Latin male acts, with 14, and the record for the most Top 10s for a Latin act, with 25. He has held 25 entries in the Hot 100 chart, with two no. 1s and five Top 10s; 14 entries in the Billboard 200 chart with three Top 10s; and one no. 1 on the Pop Songs Airplay chart, with seven Top 10s. Enrique has also won the most awards in the history of the Billboard Latin Music Awards, with 47.
Because of all of this, Enrique is undoubtedly the Biggest Latin Artist in history earning him the title of the King of Latin Pop.

Recently, LiveNation announced the new rescheduled dates for his mega-anticipated tour with Ricky Martin set for 2021. The 25-show tour kicks off September 3, 2021 at Gila River Arena in Glendale, AZ, and will play in major markets and legendary venues coast-to-coast, concluding at Amway Center in Orlando, FL on October 30, 2021.
In addition to his music, he has passionately lent his support towards disaster relief efforts with Save The Children. Enrique and his fans from all over the world have rallied to support his favorite cause through online contributions, fundraisers, auctions, merchandise and meet and greets that contributed to over $400,000 and counting.
