UK boy band One Direction are celebrating music history by becoming the first UK band ever to debut at a number one position in the album charts in the USA. Their album album 'Up All Night' is their first ever album and its just shot to the Billboard chart pole position.

Teen sensation One Direction, who were made famous by Simon Cowell's X-Factor show have been touring the USA, have been going down great in the US attracting hordes of fans.

Today was a message posted on their Twitter account saying:

‘Congratulations to One Direction for coming in at #1 on the U.S. @billboard charts. Thank you to all who've been there from day one. 1DHQ X’

Some of the members of One Direction's: Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have been also engaging in several flirting stunts in the USA with older celeb women.

18 year old Harry turned up to a radio interview on Saturday flaunting a large banner of Kim Kardashian (31) in her bikini with a note attached saying 'Call me... Maybe?'.  Other humored attempts have been made to attract older ladies by the band too.

There are also talks of the group making a deal with Nickelodeon. In previous years we have seen how this has rocketed young stars careers, it could only be good for One Direction. This latest album success can only see the band rocket more in popularity.
