Madonna became the subject of a Twitter rant by electronic musician Deadmau5. He called the star an “idiot” for apparently glamorizing drugs.

The musician was apparently disgusted at the star because of comments she made at a recent show. She reportedly shouted into the crowd “Has anybody seen Molly?” The word Molly slang for the drug MDMA in America. Deadmau5 went on to say “Very classy there Madonna, such a great message for the young music lovers at ultra.”

Deadmau5 continued his spat after Madonna revealed that she would be joining Twitter for just one day. He stated:

“You're a role model to 100's of millions. You have a powerful voice, EDM could use your positive influence, not "molly talk".

Madonna backlashed at the criticism and posted a picture of herself wearing Minnie Mouse ears and writing “From one mouse to another, I don't support drug use and I never have. I was referring to the song 'Have you seen Molly' written by my friend Cedric Gervais, who I almost worked with on my album.”

Deadmau5 and Madonna have apparently buried the hatchet after he stated that he respected her for clearing up the matter personally.

'MDNA was released this week and was met with mixed reviews by music critics.
