Florence and the Machine Record New Track for Forthcoming Snow White Film

Florence and the Machine have recorded a new track entitled 'Breath of Life' for the soundtrack to the up coming Hollywood movie Snow White And The Huntsman. The band who released their sophomore album entitled 'Ceremonials' in 0ctoboer 2011 have announced that they recently recorded a new track with a live orchestra for soundtrack of the film.
The lead singer of the band, Florence Welch stated that she was inspired to write the song by the wicked Queen in the film. The Queen character is played by award winning actress Charlize Theron.
Welch told MTV News: “The Queen is an incredible character, so hungry for life but so dead inside.”
She also stated that she almost burst into tears when she was recording the track. She also stated that there was a 60 piece choir and orchestra in the studio whilst they were recording the brand new track.
Snow White And the Huntsman starts Kristen Stewart from Twilight and Chris Hemsworth from Thor. The film is going to be released in the UK on June 1.
Florence and the Machine will be releasing their new live album on April 9. The album was recorded when they performed for MTV Unplugged in 2011.
