Rap superstar Nicki Minaj has reactivated her Twitter account just eight days after deleting it. The rapper had lost over 10 million followers in the past week due to deleting her account. Although the account has been activated again no tweets have been made.

The star deleted her account because she claims a voice in her head told her to do it. There were rumours however, that she deleted her account because of the fact that some of her fans released snippets of her new album.

Nicki told TV host Graham Norton via Idolator that: "A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter account so I did." She also stated that she hopes her 11 million followers will wait for her.

When Graham Norton asked her if she would return to Twitter she said she was currently thinking about it.

The rapper released her second album 'Pink Friday': Roman Reloaded' at the beginning of this month

She will also tour the UK in June.Minaj will also be performing in some of this Summers festivals. Including T in the Park and V Festival.

Twitter acts as a strong tool for many stars, last week when Nicki Minaj deleted the account Music Talkers predicted she would return to the social network and she has.
