Olympics Closing Ceremony Sunday: Muse Give Sneak Peek Photo

in Latest

As the Olympics closing ceremony is fast approaching this Sunday, rock band Muse posted a photo of themselves on Twitter giving an idea how they will perform. Muse who were confirmed to play earlier this week have obviously since been busy rehearsing the show.

Perhaps a rather unusual combination, Muse will be performing along side boy and girl bands including One Direction and The Spice Girls. Solo artists George Michael, Annie Lennox amongst others rumored too.

The photo was Tweeted earlier today on the official Muse account. It shows men dressed gold walking across what seems to be some kind of open space with a lorry parked up in the background. The trailing men have giant drums on their heads with Matt Bellamy carrying a guitar at the front leading.

With Muse being kind of an underground less commercial band, talk of what they will perform has been circling around the interment. Muse have stated that the song was not made for the Olympics and have said 'its a proper Muse song'.

Dom Howard (drummer) - “I'm happy with the song. It's a proper Muse song.

Listening to the song, it does sound very fitting and sounds perfect for that type of ceremony. Yet the song still has the heavy rock edge to it Muse are famous for.
